Work Baby Shower

As I mentioned earlier, my work threw me a baby shower. I am just soo lucky to work with such awesome people. Check out the Diaper Cake Rosie made. Doesn't that look delicious? They suggested baby names, guessed my stomach circumferences, date, time, weight, and length of the baby, suggested possible outcomes for the baby face "Jamekah" (some results are a little scary looking), played baby pictionary, baby music guessing game and baby trivia. They say in the first year a baby can go through 7,000 diapers (possible exaggeration, but it has James and I scared). We also had to smell dirty diapers and guess what was the mess . . . ewww. We all won at one game or another, but James guessed my waist size almost down to the millimeter. His response to the guess how big your wifes belly is was "Is this a trick question?" . . , he's a smart man.

Long Time no See

Shelly Losee Carr and fam. came to visit us in Cali last week. She is one of my favorite companions from the mission days. We actually celebrated 2 Christmas's together, and I only had two Christmas's on the mission. We met each other in the MTC. She was headed to the Munich mission and I to the Austrian mission. We roomed on the same floor in the MTC and got to know each other. Half way through our missions, the two area's were combined to one and we served together during the 2nd Christmas season in Salzburg. We had some fun times!!
Her husband "Lig", who is just as cool as she is, had a conference in San Fran. Shelly and her two adorable kids came too. I don't have a lot of pic's from the visit, but here's a few from this week and the mission too. This week we did some sight seeing, she stayed a night at our place, came to my work baby shower and had too much fun. Shelly, I loved hanging you again!

Another year older and wiser too

I really love the girls I work with. Dr. Miyatake is an excellent oral surgeon with extensive education and great business plans and ethics. My coworkers have become real good friends! We all work really hard and share the load regardless of the duty. We do like to joke around sometimes that the less experience surgical assisting staff members will have to assist a surgery all by themselves and nonsense like that, but it just helps us appreciate those who really know what their doing in their jobs. Well during lunch yesterday the girls brought out a cake for me. It wasn't exactly my birthday, but we still celebrated it with a cake. UMMM Yummieeeee.
