Salute to cops

Salute to cops

So I was driving home from Home Depot. Not more than 15 min from my house (without traffic). I exit the parking lot, turn right. roll through a stop sign, turn left, and the red and blue lights start flashing. I pulled over, roll my window down and admit I know why he pulled me over. He gave me my ticket said info would be coming in the mail within the next few months and then drove away. So I continued my drive home with feelings of anger, guilt, frustration. I'm over it now, driving school and money will erase the experience, but I would hate to have that job. Giving traffic tickets to people, setting traps to ruin peoples days. I would be unhappy doing that job although the service police men perform is very important and needed in our society. So Thanks to all those who are willing to do something I would hate but am glad someones willing to do it.

PS. Originally I wrote, "Solute" to cops, which I think would have a different meaning

PSs. and a salute to my awesome husband James who called me and cheered me up
after I texted him about the unfortunate event

I totally know how you feel. Same thing happened to me except I was going down a road that turned from 35 to 30 and right at the 30 point the guy pulled me over. I didn't have much chance to slow down. URGH I know how frustrating that can be. MISS YOU how is the babe???
