Gary Cooper

A friend of mine said when a pet has been missing for more than 14 days he is likely not coming back. So here is my fair well to our cat Gary Cooper. Almost 2 years ago my Mother-in-law found a abandoned litter of kittens on the country roads. I asked James if we could try to have the cute black and white kitten for a week and give him back to his mom if the cat wasn't our style, turns out, the kitten became one of the family. The kitten was named Gary Cooper because it looked like he wore a tux. Gary was extremely playful, not a cuddly cat. He was polite though, we trained him to to knock on the screen door when ever he wanted in the house. He did have a problem with peeing on the bathroom rug. When we moved the problem went away. He was very protective of his turf. If another cat came around (which they did) Gary would hiss them away. He would follow me all around the house. If we went to bed with the door closed he'd paw at it until it opened, which was a problem because in our current residence our bedroom door doesn't shut well. Two weeks ago I let him out and he hasn't come home since. There has been no trace of him around the neighborhood, so good bye Gary, you were a fun cat.

That's too bad! Sorry about your cat-it's never fun to lose a pet!

oh he is so cute! It makes me want to get another cat, I love cats. Sorry to hear he never came home, animals do become a part of the family. The last cat I had, I had to put him down 5years ago,he had congestive heart failure:( I haven't got another one since.
